      For what it is worth, that "Z" California Black Plate dates registration to late 1968 to early 1970.

        theres a reason the trailers that big had tandem axles... i wouldnt drive it unles it had a d70 or 80.

                While that L-head motor was a powerhouse in its own right back in the day you are right indeed! Prolly a V8, like the Vigilante in one that someone here on the forum has as a project.

                Scary thought is that I have seen some engine weight specs and that 226 comes up with a surprisingly high figure for its displacement and HP. Probably a much better stationary power source than a mobile one...
