what is this?

it was on the 383 tpi engine I bought.it seems to be vacuum with wires going to it too.it is connected in the painless wiring harness that's on the engine but the tags are old and worn and I cant read them.
also my adjustable fuel pressure regulator has a vacuum nipple on it. where do I get vac for that at and what does it do?

vacuum solenoid likely egr or vapor canister?? Looks like it isn't connected to anything? I spy an open port

fuel pressure regulator should get manifold vacuum
regulator adjusts fuel pressure via input from vacuum source

@ least block off open port.
Hard to say if needed, ecm might throw a code if unplugged if they didn't turn it off?

As above, it looks like either a EGR, AIR, or CCP solenoid. Where do the two vac lines go to?
The pink wire should be switched 12v, and the white wire should connect to the ecm. A easy way to test, if you have the ability, is to unplug it, and the ecm. Then check between the white wire on the connector and any white wires you see on the ecm connectors and checked for continuity. Once you find it, then just look up what that pin is on the appropriate wiring diagram.
