I thought we can start a thread here about just the Recon. I would like to keep the other one about the actual "solid" plans. That way we can keep it from getting all bunched up!!
I would like to go but I need to figure out the dates I am off. Why don't we throw out some dates that we can be there so we can get this going. The more the better. If the dates fall when I am off of work I could fly in on a Friday night and stay through say late Sunday afternoon just enough time to go to work on that monday. But lets see what dates you all throw out to see if I can make it or not.
This main purpose for this trip would be the following.
1. Go talk to KOA in person to make sure they still want our crazy group. I will talk to them over email or phone before the recon.
2. Set a "plan" for our trail runs, that way we kind of know what we are doing.
3. Oh and probably drink some cold beers....
