    1980 Jeep J10 Honcho Sportside - restore

    Hello everyone.
    I'd like share with you my works and the history of mi 1980 stepside that I bought one year ago from michigan and imported in my city, Rome Italy.

    ONE OWNER, 77000 original miles, more than 10 years in the garden of the owner.

    Almost everything was factory and truck was almost complete

    Here some pictures before to get it. In these picture it was still in the country were he was born.

    Nice!! Congratulations on the purchase! I miss my Sportside. I regret selling it but at least the new owner is doing it justice.

      Original paint, never repainted.
      5 original wheels
      Original brushguard
      original black interior jeans (no levi's logo cause it's a post '79)

      And Icing on the cake the original vehicle building order

              For woodrails I need your help. Next night I hope to make some drawing in 2d and 3d of pieces for wood rails.

              I have not the right dimensions so I hope somebody will complete my drawings with them

                Maybe i can help , no problem, otherwise WH , one of our best FSJs restorer already made some reproductions and should also be able to help you :
                Headhoncho, (JR) and I have been talking about the wood bed rails for the 1980 to 1983 J10 Sportsides since I started the Restoration of "Dad's J10". We made a deal, that after I had the truck on the road, he would send me the original parts he had for his 1980 Sportside. About three months ago, he mailed me the
