Im trying to learn all I can through the tech section and search, but I have some questions I can't seem to find the answers to. so please bear with me.
So this is my first FSJ... actually my first 4wd.
3 of my cars are AWD which is different (to me at least).
anyway, so I have an 84 j10 with selec-trac. I understand the H-L transfer case lever and the 2w-4w switch... but what is up with the manual locking hubs. what do they do? when would I engage them? does it lock the diff?
I appologize in advance for SUCH a noob question. perhaps that is why I couldn't find the answer.
