They are painting the wood grain on, will be interesting to see how it is done and if it looks good or cheesy.

Wheeler Dealers is the best show on TV. My favorite show doing my favorite vehicle couldn't be better. They did a good job Although 33's with a 3" might become an issue after the springs settle.lol

He said it was a factory color but I think it was way off.

Watched it on Motortrend.com. I don't think that was a factory color either but I think they did a great job on that rig, overall. Very tastefully done.

They said they paid $7500 for the paint job. LIARS! That's AT LEAST a $10k paint job. AT LEAST.

I watched the show, I liked the painted on wood, been thinking about doing the stripe on my truck that way. I personally found a lot of the details lacking. To me the show just isn't the same without Ed.

How about that wood trim.... they pulled off the original and what they replaced it with looks a lot better than the 1" wide D-profile shaped pieces I've seen. The radiuses were clean, the joints were tight... anyone know what they used?

And like others have said, there's no way they did a full restoration of that truck for $19,000. The paint job looked good, I saw the door jams were done, but they never showed back under the hood to see if they pulled the engine and painted the engine bay.

I wish someone would do a show showing a full restoration over the course of the season instead of 60 minute start to finish projects.
