I used a retro sound radio. Not factory, but I didn't want to cut a hole.

I'd give Wagonmaster a call in Kerrville. While they say they don't sell parts to the general public, I've seen in one of their storage containers, and they've got dozens of those Jensen OEM tape decks. I think they pull them in favor of a newer-style deck.

They'd probably give you one if you asked nicely enough.

How old? I think I still have my stock factory Jensen that you could have cheap (free). Just cover shipping.

Retrosound radios are really nice if you have the money. The basic model (all you really need) is $200. You can adjust the knobs around to fit any dash opening and many different faceplates are available to make them fit perfectly. I have one in my Wagoneer and I love it.

Factory radios are mainly an ebay thing. I picked one up for $20 and stuck it in my Hornet, so if Jeep radios fit AMC, an AMC radio should fit Jeep. They're all Motorola.

Even if it doesn't work, they're relatively simple radios to repair and understand.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.
