    Sad day in my life...

I read this Morning that Jessi Combs died yesterday trying to break her personal land speed record.

I have watched her on TV for many, many years and loved that girl.

She was an amazing welder, mechanic, fabricator and racer.
She was funny, beautiful, smart and one of the most driven people in life I never got to meet.

I normally don't get upset over celebrity's passing because I don't worship them like many people these days...

There are a few that that really touch so many peoples lives and help so many along the way that makes me sad to see them go.

She did more in 39 years that most people will do in their lifetime.

I would say Rest in peace Jessi but I have a feeling she will never stop until she finds out just how fast those wings will go up there!

Total bummer. Sad day in deed. Only solace is at least she was doing what she loved when she went.

        dang....a shocker and heartbreaker

I do not have tv anymore ,...just dvd's

but when I did have TV service, I watched her and the guys on Sunday morning,

        watching them work on vehicles
inspired me to get back on my projects

she really LOVED anything with wheels
and it was genuine, not fake.

I am so sorry for her loved ones, anyone who knew her.
I bet she was real fun to hang out with.

a definite loss to the hobby.

        R.I.P.

Was not familiar with her, but probably saw something of her work over the years. But just looked up and see she's originally from the black hills area. I have family out there and travel there plenty. I will have to ask my sister more about her, as I bet this is a huge loss for the area there too.

Thanks for sharing the information, even though it's sad news....
