    82 J10 vs. 79 Cherokee brake wise

For what ever reason, my '82 J10 has a MUCH smoother and lighter feel to the brake pedal than my '79 Cherokee. Both have power brakes as well as recent pads/shoes but the Cherokee pulls hard when braking. The booster in the Cherokee is working but it feels alot weaker than the J10.

SIlly question, but is there anything I can do, short of a new booster, to 'boost' the power of the brakes on the Cherokee to match the J10?
You know it's bad when your car's on the EPA's 10 most wanted list!

The 80's brake setup is superior to the 70's one in my experience. The J20 had even better braking as it used a dual diaphram booster in the 80's.
