I'm so jealous. That thing looks awesome! Maybe in 10 years I'll have enough spare cash to do the body work and paint on mine. Hey what size Firestones are those?

Got the paint back to the body shop for cut & buff. Turned out way better than I'd hoped.

The wife has this jeep all "Christmas'd up" and is pretty proud of herself. I don't get the Jeep/Xmas connection, but it definitely exists.

Awesome

I really liked reading through your build. What year/model truck did you get as the donor? What engine trans did it have?
If you were to do it again, what would you do differently? I have always wanted to do a swap and just might get to do it on my next Jeep if I can't get the 360 working. Trying to learn as much as I can from others before jumping in.

Thanks in advance!

Completely failed to remember our connection... I met your Dad at the NC Auto Expo in 2017. It's hard to remember all of these usernames.

Yes! I remember that. I have the photos you sent me in my screen saver rotation.

I used a 2000 Silverado with 5.3 and 4L60E trans. I'm glad you like the post. I added a parts list and a list of things I'll do differently building the second jeep at the start of this thead. I'm sure you can do it cheaper than I did, but for me all the ancillary parts cost more than the motor and trans.
