What a buch of idiots!!! What, would they rather have everybody that enjoys exploring the land in motorized vehicles find other things to do like crimes, drugs and that sort. Surely we're not going to hike up the mountains we climb in our jeeps.

          Signed!!

Signed the petition and sent this email to [email protected] the email address listed on the thrillcraft website.

Probably won't make any different to those fanatics, but I wanted to let them know there are reasonable, intelligent people who enjoy the outdoors in motorized vehicles.

"I just reviewed you ?thrillcraft? video on the web and have a couple of questions for you: 1.) are you saying that *every*person who uses a recreational vehicle (which you incorrectly label ?thrillcraft?) is loud, irresponsible, and destroys the environment every time they use their RV (and would somehow behave responsibly if they were hiking), or 2.) that the 1% of humanity that is loud and irresponsible AND use RVs should cause ALL RVs usage to be banned everywhere? Neither one of these seem to make sense to me.

Public land is just that ? land available for PUBLIC use. There can and should be separate areas reserved for RV use, equestrian use, pedestrian use, and untouched land that should be preserved in its natural state.

Your slanted video mis-represents the facts and causes serious environmentalists to be painted with the brush of fanaticism that undermines the goal of responsible maintenance of our planet.

Banning RVs will not save the environment, one billion people hiking through public lands do as much damage as any of the ?scare? scenes you depict in your video. Spend your effort on reducing the world population, that will do more to preserve the environment in the long term than banning any activity that you don?t personally participate in."

i signed but i live by the motto Leave no trace.. that means i pack out what i packed in and i don't abuse the trails by digging in with my tires or running in and out of the same mud hole at high rpms.

Remember if we all practiced this philosophy we wouldn't be facing this thrillcraft place now.

Now dune runners (buggies) and dirt bikes and quads are great for dunes and sandy wide open areas but I hate seeing dirt trails obliterated by these vehicals. because of our youth not respecting the land they have to use. all they care about is running through the deapest hole they can find.

I personally know of one such individule and refuse to wheel with him for that reason.

just my OPP. ( .02 cents)

We all need to be responsible for the land we enjoy. I signed the petition and support the use of public lands.
I think we have to do a lot of work to make up for the few who should be tarred and feathered for the way they act on public lands. We have all seen these Bozo's and just cringed at their actions.

I wounder if these people at Thrillcraft are against rock climbing? Those pitons can't do the rock faces any good. what about the kids I've seen pulling up plants throwing rocks in streams and generally vandalizing the pathway they were walking on.
