I am trying to post a couple pictures for you. Two issues... My camera is dying and everything is colored with a very purple hue. Second is photobucket is not working tonight. I will try again tomorrow morning.
BTW, your trans adapter looks severely worn on one side. The foot on the bottom. On the passenger side. You might have to put a couple fender washers under it.

You should have an aluminum bar between the trans adapter and the poly or rubber mount. It is about 8-9 inches long. I will try to post up tomorrow unless someone else beats me to it.

Thanks Al. The wear on the foot is actually just camera angle.

My camera is definitely on its way out. Here are a couple shots. The end view has the thicker edge facing the front. That is the aluminum bar I mentioned.

        From the front looking back.

        End view.

I looked through 40 pages of my build thread and realized just going out to take a picture was way faster....

Al is that a homemade bar? I don't remember what came out of there having a bevel to it. But then I don't remember much since it was about 3 years ago and it was junk.

That is a factory piece. There should be one under every TH400.
When they get loose they wear badly from movement. I fixed one by using panel adhesive under a stainless plate. Made it flat again and sturdy with the stainless.

Things are moving along. Not nearly as fast as I would like but progress is good.

Al here is a picture of a TH 400 mount and is identical to the ones BJs sell. I am really confused. Not hard to have happen but frustrating.

Good to see progress, Frank. Life keeps getting in the way of my build. Every time I think I'll get back on it something comes up. Your's looks like it coming along great!

                  Thanks Randy. positive input helps!!
                  Now the problem for today
I blew the posi in my LJ running a Chevy 6.0 liter and a6L90 tranny.

It just couldn't take the power of the engine anymore. Pulled on to the highway headed back to camp and "slightly" got on it to merge into traffic. Well that didn't go so well and now I have an ARB in the back. Seems to work well or at least as well as I can tell.

Now the problem. I am throwing three codes: P0700, P0182E and 1915. All are related to the transmission.

While I was waiting for the ARB to get here I shortened a couple of wiring harnesses. I have gone back several times and checked the wiring to make sure everything was where it is supposed to be but no luck finding the problem.

Anyone out there got any suggestions?

I was suggesting a solution for your A/T codes.

I agree. I'm publicly booing the silence, Frank.

                              Boooooooooooo.

Also, I hope all is well and really, we just miss seeing your excellent progress, amigo.

I have been wondering too. I know he and Faye travel a LOT with his jeep in tow behind his motor home. Hoping all is well and he is just taking a break.
I have his number somewhere.... I should call.

Wondering about Todd the welder too. Last I heard he was working a ton of hours away from home. Thats sort of what I remember
