Always a fan of RC miniatures, for your Christmas list

Technology is enabling some great stuff to happen. I sent the JEGS blazer to a friend, and he sent back the link to the Cherokee.
    Christmas is coming!

    A very amazing 76 Cherokee.

JEGS blazer. They have a Bronco, and Toyota truck. Makes me want to finish my 5 foot tug boat. This winter, time is mine!

Performance Automotive Parts from Accel Billet Edelbrock MSD VDO. JEGS is the source for performance parts with Same Day Shipping.

I know and thought the same.... But it has low range! LOL
I have a very early production all metal axial scorpion with a wrangler body on it. I spent a stupid amount of time on it for what it is. Made a frame, bumpers, bought a miniature cooler etc. It is a sickness large or small right?

For less money than that blazer, now you can get into detailed airplanes complete with radios.
I have a 5 foot Cessna 182 that I hope to assemble this winter. They are cheap and if you crash, you can fix them at a fraction of the costs. I always said I would never get into RC flying. To expensive and risky. Not anymore.
      Now it is just risky.
Rock crawling is more fun. You can do it in your yard and when you roll 6 times down a bank, no one gets hurt. Never stop being a kid.

I hear you! My son had a micro mini RC biplane and that thing was sooo incredibly fun. I think we paid about $80 for it, ready to fly. We flew that thing for hours and replaced almost every replaceable part on it. Then we bought a Mustang and had a helluva time keeping it airborne. We went through a prop every 10 minutes (they are $8/each) so we ended up just hanging it in his room as a static display.

I can see myself REALLY getting sucked into RC stuff. Good thing I have my Jeep to keep my distracted from super cool RC Blazers and the like...

It is a lot of fun. But just a hobby still. I have a couple things sitting around from way back. I hope to find time to do nothing important all day and be a kid again.
But for now it is catch up on just about everything since finishing the build thread. Yes, Mustangs are hard to fly. Same with the corsair. A buddy of mine bought one and stuffed it into the ground right away. He already had the mustang. That is a good reason to keep stuff on the ground like an RC truck.
I had a cool long rock crawl outside with hill climbs. But it got ruined with needed landscaping.
I brought in a couple loads of rock. Not a pebble found here as it is all clay. It was a shame to wreck it.
I like scale stuff. And places like dollhouse miniatures has just about everything for detail. Cast iron skillets, coolers, mini lanterns, sleeping bags, canned soup, shovels, axes, canoes, cool miniature stuff.
Never stop thinking like a kid.
