Fix for Overhead Compass/Thermometer

I tried the service on ebay to replace the components on the overhead compass/thermometer. It works great. I wish I found this $55 service years ago.

I ordered the same service this summer and my overhead console works great now. Turnaround time is slow....about a month.

Before this summer, he ran out of "stock" so I reached out to him on eBay and he threw a few units on there.

Interesting. My display sometime works, but mostly doesn't. It worked before I messed with the dome lights, so i figured it's yet another bad ground.

I had a bad power connection near the drivers seat and b pillar, under the carpet. It feeds the console and dome lights. Lots of corrosion. I thought my issue was a ground too but it wasn't. Maybe worth checking out before chasing grounds.
