    missing door seal

    Hi,

does anyone have a picture/source of these missing seals in my front door? On that picture you are looking down on the driver side door from top, on the hinges...there are about 7 holes in the front inner side of the door..

That is what is sometimes called a Water Dam. It keeps the dirt, ice and water off your door seals.

They are not available aftermarket...to my knowledge but good used examples are out there. Be sure to grab all those black pins you can!

If you come up empty, there is a junkyard alternative:

My door dams were in good shape so I just did the ones over the doors. The seal I used will do the job for you...better than the originals as long as you don't mind using non-factory seals. You can still use the black push pins along with contact cement for seals that will last you another 30 years
