No way I would have wanted to put them back together during the summer months when it's 98.9 degrees. Very happy to be done. They sound so solid with all the glass and rubbers back in.

That is a nice sound isn't it.

It's all looking good, nice work.

Thanks all for the comments. Working on the window wipes on the passenger side front door, Two of the clips came out on the outer wipe. I'am going to try and order some clips and redo it. Not sure if I can fix it, we will see. Also All the other wipes I very gently hammered all the tabs down a little.

The rear wipes went in okay. The outer wipe was to long for the drivers side rear door. Was able to cut it to length on my band-saw with out screwing it up. The wipes were the same length, I think the drivers door was built a little shorter. Go figure.

Started working on trying to make a gasket for the tail lights. I found some D profile rubber weather stripping at Home Depot and cut it to make it work.
Here is what I used.

My taillights are not in the best of shape. I have a set off of a parts Wagoneer that are in a little better shape, so I will use those. I used the 3M black weatherstrip adhesive.

Cut the flat part of the D profile off and glued it to the housing.

Be careful when you get the new clips. My drivers door clips were off and it wouldn't fit. The clips broke when we tried to remove them.

Ordered what I thought was the same clip and put them on the wipe only to find that it held the wipe to high.

Hear is the old clip versus the new one. Notice the spike location is off. It was usable but took some extra work to get it in.

Mine fits exactly like that, too. I still have the factory front seal on vent windows so I think the new scrapers should have a little wing on them that comes forward to cover that gap. I am not sure what I am going to do about it either. I do not see a way to move the scraper forward and even if you do, it will just expose a gap on the other side.

Used the 3M trim adhesive, put a little on both pieces and slap it together.

Christmas put a hurt on the Jeep piggy bank so I'am doing things that are not costing a lot of money. Just trying to keep the project moving forward.

Also cleaned up the rear door sill protectors. I used a product called White Diamond and Mothers aluminium polish. Before.

Looking good. Were those plastic trim pieces already black?

This time of year does put a damper on the ole piggy bank of Jeep money.

The sill plates look great but I bet they were a bear to polish up. Kind of like waxing diamond plate.

Yes, the trim was black. I washed the sill plates with dawn dish soap and then hand polished with white diamond and mothers, was not to bad. The black trim was cleaned with dawn and hot water.
