I was thinking before that yellow on a wag would look a little school bussy, but that is a FINE looking rig. Maybe it's the SOA/SF & 38s, but dayum! If I go ol yeller, maybe I'll name it Copycat.

Yup, pretty much have made up my mind..... I too am gonna go with Yellow and Black..AGAIN!!!.................It's gonna be sorta like a Steeler Wagon....In the late 70's I had an old VW bettle that needed a Paint job and I painted it to look just like a Steelers Football helmet (Rustoleum Brush and Roller job) and it turned out pretty good... was Quite the conversation piece at the time...... Then five or so years back I painted my S10 all Black and Gold (Yellow) stipes with a Wagner Power painter and thined down Rustoleum to face liftit abit after some rust repairs.............and Now that I'm gonna repaint the GW my wife and kids have Chimed in with the Steeler thyme again..... So Yellow it is.....Wish me luck............ I'm leaning twords Trying to give her the Urethane Basecoat/Clearcoat come spring............Was thinking of Blacking out all the Chrome ..window trim, gutters, grill, mirrors, roof rack and bumpers....all but the door handles...and the rest will be yellow.... with yellow and Black wheels..........should turn out ok.. I think, anyways .............any suggestions on a prep stratagy for priming the chrome before finishes???

          Rough it up...

It's funny that we worry so much about chrome (myself included), but if we ever get any overspray on it the stuff WON'T come off... seems like just regular paint wouldn't come off either... lol...

In the "readers rigs" try Kirk Brantley's 78 Cherokee Chief on the second page. Hope this helps.
