    Experienced Newbie

    Yello,
Names Seth, currently residing in Fargo, ND. Working in the area as a full time mechanic for the national guard as a federal technician. Been in the mechanic/fabrication field for just under a decade and specialize quite extensively on the electrical side of things. Found the page after buying a '78 Wagoneer from the great lakes area with only 80k original miles on it. 360, TH400, unsure of the quadra-trac but previous owner said it ran right before it was parked 3 years ago. Went up to see it in October to make sure it wasn't going to be too much work for the price (1700). I'm aware of the rust and how much it's going to take, however, I'm confident I can get 'er done. put a new battery in when we went up to pick it up. Now she sits and waits for me to get my research and documentation set up and ready to actually delve in. I have to admit, I've learned a TON just by lurking through these forums, and I'm so grateful. Pic to follow, i'll be documenting every step of the way quite thoroughly and posting them on a new post here.

Welcome to the forums. This place is full of great folks and lots of incredible information. Is that an engine warmer plug hanging out the grille?

Glad you are here! Love your truck! T

Go to oljeep.com and download the service manual (for free). TONs of good info in there.

You will also find great deals in the classifieds, both if you post want ads and if you monitor the for sale ads. Much better deals than Fleabay or Team Grand Wagoneer at least.

Anyway, Great selection on your rig! Looking forward to seeing you around here!
