While religion and politics are the most contentious types of threads, I find that if I don't agree with them, it is alot easier to just ignore and bypass them.....To paraphrase Wilford Brimly in one of his movies, You get a more harmonious outcome.

My guess is that most them 7 million bills have tears on em, can't believe the people that have told me of someone they knew that cried for days. I'll never forget something Rick Perry said the 2012 election cycle "If I'm elected president I will make the federal government the most inconsequential part of your life". These criers don't get that what they are crying about are things the federal government has no rights to impose. 17 enumerated powers the Feds have, all other matters left to the states, hence the people. 50 individual experiments on how to self govern, if you don't like it you can easily escape to a state more to your liking. That is how it's supposed to work, not this inescapable federal crap being rammed down our throats.

Trump just made Rick Perry secretary of energy dept. lol.

That's the dept he said he would demolish if president but couldn't remember what it was called in the debates, and it ended his run.

Well Rick Perry oughtta trim it up some soon. He'll be in charge.

Brilliant.

Invest in pink slips company cuz they stock gonna be soaring soon.

Wow I leave for a while and look what happens!

I didn't read all 4 pages to catch up, just most of the first page.

We have gone back and forth on the political posts. It was tried before and there was one member who would purposely drag down each thread. Kind of ruined it for everyone.

Mike, how ya doing. I finally tossed the PS3.

Since I bought it as a blu-ray player (back then they were priced similar) I finally replaced it with a smaller blu-ray player that also does stuff like my Roku used to do. Less clutter, faster boots and no fan noise...

Before turning it off I did try to hit up that 'Playstation Home' we used to go to. It's been turned off.

I'll get more active on IFSJA. It had almost died but looks like now there is a good set of activity in the General Jeep and tech sections. Nice.

Chagrin? I'll say! As soon as I can come up with a set of dog dish caps and a really rare AMC hood ornament, I'm outta here!
Happy holidays, Mike!
