    Tilt column

    Hi guys,
    I have an 83 J10 w/manual transmission and I am replacing my steering column with a tilt one, can I swap out the cover that has the gear indicator on it or is it a giant pain??

      Tilt to Tilt yes Non tilt to tilt NO .I did what you are trying to do what a PITA . You will need pin pulling tool . steering wheel puller .spring compressor . Book is a must have.
