    JEEPFEST!!! Need more FSJ's there!

August 26th 2006.. Pearson Park, New Castle, PA

    JEEPFEST 2006 - http://www.jeepfest.net

come on out folks! We have a trophy for best FSJ.. we had NO Waggys or J-trucks there last year out of 350 jeeps! The trophy went to an old willys truck that also won for best restoration.

Register online.. we expect to have 500 jeeps there this year!

    Mel,
Do you have vendors come and set up? I don't have a show scheduled that weekend, so I could probably come...

This is a sweet show, folks...

Every year there are more and more Jeeps. I can't remember how many last year, but it was pretty big.

Lots of cool stuff to do, too - RTI ramp, rock pile, mud pit, mini trail ride...

VERY family friendly - tons of activities for the kiddos.

370 Jeeps attended last year. We're probably looking at over 400 this year!

We went there in 2004 with our 73 waggy only full size there and they gave a prize for full size jeep and uglyst to a M75 that was there and had won the year before when we said somthing to them they said it was our fault for parking way in the back with the litle jeeps (were they told us to park)in steed of up front with the big jeeps and the trails were not set up for FSJs only little jeeps obsticle course could not run trees to close toghether and turn to sharp other than that had a lot of fun if my tranny wasn,t out I d go agin

Last year's trails were plenty big for FSJs...

If you're angling for a prize, you have to park in the right spot. A friend of mine abandoned his own club last year so he could park in a spot to help him win...lol.

My Heep isn't that special, so I spend a lot of the day on the obstacle course.

Yea.. the jeep show is "popular vote" each registered participant gets one ballot... so.. getting there early & having a good spot is an advantage (I guess all the participants don't feel like walking all over.. lol)

I don't know what to say about the little trail-ride section, we do the best we can, it is a park, so we can't cut down the big trees.. LOL

Hope to see a big FSJ contingency there this weekend! I even put pictures on the ballot form so people won't be voting in the wrong category this year.. previous years we had people thinking ZJ's and WJ's were FSJs...

Jeepfest was really cool - a handful of FSJs there. A couple J-trucks, a really nice Chero and a Waggy. There were a couple Willys trucks, also. There was an old Jeep mail van there...pretty neat.

On a side note, Zach was there...had some Rhinos (and other stuff) to show off. Nice guy...I hope to do business with him in the future.

393 total Jeeps this year...let's get more FSJs there next year!
