    Jeeps grow on you

New to the forum here from NE Arkansas. After being in the Jeep family since 89 with my YJ my son who will be a senior in high school next year has had a love for the Jeeps especially the old FSJ's. 2 weeks ago he was able to buy a 77 Cherokee Chief. He and I are both excited for this new adventure into the old FSJ. This looks like a great place to get info and looking forward to hanging out here.

Great! There are a few of us on here doing father/son FSJs! Make sure you do a build thread, even if they are just little projects here and there. The build threads are super encouraging to those of us who are not masters at this and it's a good way for the folks who are masters to offer up their advice. My truck would be a pile of parts sold to someone else if I did not have my build thread.

    Post some pictures, too!
Here is one way to post pictures Read thsi thread
and here are two more: read this one, too

Watch the classifieds and use the wanted adds. You will save a ton of money compared to wrecking yards and fleabay.

This looks like a solid base to start your project.

That is a good looking Cherokee. I bet it will be a fun project for y'all.
My carcaine addiction wasted my life but it is a life well wasted.

The title “Jeeps grow on you” caught my eye. Indeed they do! Remember this, “if you are not having fun than you are doing it wrong”. Welcome
