A/C Rattling Sound

The A/C on my 88 Wagoneer makes as best as I can describe a rattling sound when turned on. I can't hear it from inside only from the outside.
Works great otherwise. Blows really well and gets cold. Riding in the vehicle you would never think anything was wrong.

From the outside, the sound is coming from somewhere on the driver's side maybe but honestly I'm not sure if I ever walked to the other side to listen.

Any ideas?

Wild guess would be the AC clutch.

The York compressor are noisey. If its abnormally noisey, it may be low on oil or is failing.
