    Project FL.

picked this up. gonna be my new wisconsin cruiser. 11L detroit S60. my favorite (and the best) motor, altho i prefer the 12 liter. the 11 can be converted.

double bunk in this one too. i can stand on the main bunk and put my arms over my head.
frame has been stretched to about 225" wheelbase. i like cabovers closer to 200",but it'll ride nicer with the extra inches.

yeah, the paint job is absolutely !

generally,i can't stand Freightliners. we had a FLA (their model designation) in our shop a while back,i crawled around it and actually liked it. this one is an FLA with the Hi-Top.

      i'll put a tv in it,and a PS3 and i can take 2 kids at a time with me.

Sweet rig! Like a working motor home inside. What is the deal with the paint? Did the guy haul energy drinks or something?

I like it. Clean that baby up, and we might have a place for it in "Trucker: The Musical"

Are the CO's coming back. I drive a ton for my job and for a while, never saw any CO's (I mean the KWs, Peterbuilt, Int. ones, not the little imports) Now in the last two years, I see more and more. Always liked the CO, heck when I was small, actually got to ride in one for a few miles during a family vacation. Let me tell ya, for a little kid, riding in a "Big Truck" is soooo coool!!!

no,not as new trucks. but the old cabovers are the hot ticket to restore currently. i want a 362 Pete, but this FL fell in our lap,and is actually a likeable truck.

few interior shots. this is a double wide bunk cab,but Freightliner does theres a bit different. the bed is not as wide as a pete or kw,and they extend the seat cavity behind the seat. i can see the benefit. no shortage of leg room availability. but the full width bed is also nice. undecided at this point.

tall bunk,i'm standing where the main bunk mattress would go. there is a upper fold down bunk as well.

                              passenger side.

                              shelf over the drivers area.

and i stripped the green off the grille.
