LED dash light

Ok, when I re-wired RT I put led lights in. All are working fine except one of the 5 dash lights. It has a slight "glow" to it. All the others work fine. They are off and when they come on they are bright. This is the MIL light for the Vortec. No code show up, so I'm stumped. Any ideas?

How is it wired up?
PCM wire for MIL is ground, and what activates it. It should be isolated from regular vehicle ground. Other side LED is hot all time.

I just replaced all my dash lights with LED's and they work great,

Not sure about the "yellow glow" but the LED's only work one way when you plug them in, if they don't work you have to turn it 180 degrees and reinsert it?

Or maybe it is a bad LED?

Yeah, MIL ground, positive to the other side. May have to pull it and check with a voltmeter.

key on engine off MIL should light.
key on engine running light goes off.
MIL should not be tied to dash/interior lighting in any way.

Thanks Tony, that makes sense. I'll double check it all next weekend.

As alluded to, make sure you have the bulb connected in the correct orientation. Remember, LEDs are diodes, they only work (correctly) one direction. If you wired it assuming the PCM wire is hot, as many other things are, it will be wrong.
