TBI Engine Temp sensor and Factory Temp Sendor locations

I know I need to install my new Temp Sensor somewhere in a coolant passage and the first logical choice would be where my Temp Sender is for my Temp gauge but I don't want to loose my sketchy temp gauge.

Where do you guys stick the TBI Temp Sensor?

is there a combo sensor/sender I could get that would serve both functions?

      passenger front intake
stock temp sensor location is not correct thread for tbi sensor

Anywhere a CTO is located would work for TBI sensor.
There are also drain plugs in block, one per side, that could be used.

I did the same when I installed my TBI. I relocated the yellow CTO to the thermostat housing to control my purge and EGR. I eliminated the dual CTO in the rear all-together. You could also install the yellow CTO where the dual CTO used to be.

No worries because my install hasn't started yet. My fan switch will go into the T-Stat housing.

                Facepalm.
I saw this and just realized I have my ECM coolant sensor in the thermostat housing. It really should be in the intake to better monitor temps while warming up - once the thermostat is open it should be all the same.
A fan switch can go in the tstat housing no problem since it should be a higher temp than stat opening anyway.
Temp sender for a gauge, same as an ecm, you want it in flowing coolant either block, head or intake.
