Spare Tire Question

Hello- Has anyone tried to fit a 31X10.5 spare under their wagon- in the factory location?
Thanks!

Mine's up there with a factory aluminum rim. Had to adjust for the wider tire, but it's been up there for about 8 months with no problem. I check it periodically to make sure it had air

Had mine there for about 2 years no problem. I had to move the pin on the back of the holder and get a longer bolt for the front of it (next to bumper) but it fits nice. Tire's a little heavy to get back in there though.

i used 1/8 bar stock and make a new hanger shackel about 1 inch longer and the tire fits up there real nice. i used the origional bolt too. it is a little hard to get out, kinda heavy.
