Snowstorm of 2010 and your FSJ - pics & videos!

I know there's another "FSJs in the snow" thread on here, but considering the magnitude of the recent mid-Atlantic snowstorm, I felt we deserved a separate thread entirely.

Here in Pittsburgh, we received anywhere from 14 to 36+ inches of snow -- more than any single snowfall in the last few decades. The governor has declared a disaster emergency for the entire state of Pennsylvania (and apparently the PA National Guard has been deployed), but that didn't prevent us from taking an excursion in my Grand Wagoneer. We've been without power since morning, so we went to hole up with some friends who have heat and hot water.

Here are some videos and pictures. If you've got any of your own, post 'em!

Wish I could get my camera working. Had 18 inches total in the last two days here in Ohio. Had the GW out last night and today despite not having reverse. It was a blast!

Yeah, that's too bad. Snow or not, you guys put the Eastern US to shame with all your beautiful scenery. I'm looking to head out to Wyoming this spring and I can't wait!

It's kinda like the old jab about cutting your grass and finding a car.

We got 29" here in Northern VA. I was able to plow down my road once with that tractor but theres no getting back up. I can get the 4 wheeler up and down the mountain to my house but the track is too narrow for anything else. Waiting on a Bulldozer to open the road up...just no other way to plow up the mountain.

I posted this in off topic, but what the heck I'll post it here too.

I hate snow. Took a while to get the door open.

Clean up!

What are you guys talking about?

We live up here in "The Great White North" - Canada - and here is a photo of the Jeep today:

I can't believe this winter! There has not been any real snow since Christmas!

Blizzard 2010 in North Georgia

You can see from the photo we were lucky to make it through our southern snowstorm. Once I shoveled the Cherokee out, I bought all the bread and milk I could carry. Didn't know how long our snowbound isolation would last and I didn't want to take any chances with the family.

Thanks for sharing the pix y'all. Good luck with snow removal, etc. to those who got the big hammer in NOVA, MD and DC.
