    J10 / J20 Springs

Just a couple quick questions for you J truck experts. I have a 74 J20 long bed and a 78 J10 short bed. My plan was to take the running gear (401/Th400/QT/ D60 rear/D44HD frnt) and install in the J10 that has an excellent rust free cab&bed. My question is: Can the diffs from the J20 mount up to the J10 springs? or Should I transfer the springs from the J20 to the J10? is so Will I have problems with spring mounts?

Thank you all for your time in helping a J truck newbie.

Oh, by the way. The 78 J10 has a 401/TH400/QT but the engine has a hole in one piston.

    Thx,

    Blazin

They should bolt right in place no problems.

If it were me I'd swap in the J20 springs as well unless the J10 springs are in way better shape. But then again i like the stiffer ride and heavier load capacity.

1985 J10 nothing special just a nice clean stock truck.
