Love the picture! Its been my experience that the rusty one come apart the fastest. Rather than having to fully thread the nuts off the bolts, you just snap the bolts What could be quicker

Cool beans. Looking good.

Since you have the frame so exposed, and have already found one broken weld, take a really good look where the steering box mounts. The welder I hired to do my critical welds found two cracks in the frame where the steering box mounts, while welding my new shackle mounts.

This would mean you have to take it off the frame, but at this point that's a minor thing to do while it's all tore apart anyways.

Wow you made that look so easy. I never thought of using the Dodge cross member, I always see people fabbing up custom mounts and such. Your way so much easier looking.

yeah i thought of using the crossmember because the Dodge and Amc frames are very similar in Width maybe 1/2 -1 inche off.. Chevy is about 2-4 inches difference.

Thanks for the props guys, but Mweath helped out a ton ! it would have been serious struggle with out his help

Just subscribed! Looks great. Are those the factory front springs? If not, what springs are you using.

How much space between the back of the head and the firewall? I looks like the fan is sitting where the radiator use to.
