Chicagoland FSJeepers: Great Lakes Jeep Thing Show and Shine

The Great Lakes Jeep Thing Show and Shine will be held Sunday, July 18th from 1 to 6PM at the Blue Top drive-in in Highland, IN. Most of these guys don't have a clue what a real Jeep is so I would like to see some FSJ representation. I know myself and DerekTJeep are planning on being there.

The Blue Top is on US41 (Indianapolis Blvd) about 2 miles south of I-80/94 in my hometown and is a really neat place. It has been around since the 50s and is an oldtime drive-in; right down the the roller-skating waitresses in short-shorts. Hope to see you there.

I was there only once. I wouldn't mind going again. It would be a lot of fun I'm sure that as the event draws closer, more people would know if they would be able to make it.

Happy FSJing

I know about where it is. I have been past that area alot on my way east when I was trucking. I might try to make it there. I live in East Central Wisconsin and I am only 3.5 hours away depending on when I go through the windy city. Just might see you there. We have a simular type of place in Oshkosh called Ardy and Eds drive-in.
Might have to do the same here if anyone is interested

I would attend, but I not have a rig that would make it that far.
Maybe later this year, when I pick up my J20 or next year when I will have more done to the Wag,
I would be able to attend.

Maybe not this year, but next year, I hope attend some of these get-togethers
