Then gremlin wire roasting. When I turned the lights on near Naschitti <yes-real place> the alternator started pegging the vlot meter and then it dropped to just under 12. I got home with dim lights and about 10 vlots on da AMC meter yeah...
Jaime had some issues after leaving KOA, left his house around 12pm, Just arrived, drove straight through 12:32 am....Jodie and I need some sleeeep she just called me an "A" hole....hmmm Glad to see everyone is home safely. Will post more pics in a few days. And a bunch of videos!!!
Oh and Sambo yeah the diesel helped but the wind was a pia all the way to Midland..... 10mpg
the reason i was stuck in the washout was i didnt have a front shaft at that point! lol michaels got video of why that happened!

Glad everyone is home OK. I have the shortest trip and may have had the biggest problem. This is how I maded it home, the trail rig became the tow rig for about 40 Miles .

About 5 Miles out of cruces, the newly installed 401 started to spew out oil from the timing chain cover , Looks like my job of re-assembling the 401 was below par . Looks like I just need to remove, re-seal and re-install the cover (and all components attached). The leak seems to be from a bad seal on the gasked and probably caused by not applying proper torque to all of the bolts on the cover. So probably a one day setback.
