    Torque for rag joint nuts?

Anyone have the specs for the two nuts that hold the rag joint? My TSM doesn't have it. The p/s box and rag joint is from a 77 j10 -it has the 5/16 and 3/8 studs on the rag joint. Thanks!

My guess is there is no spec for them.

    Typical torque for a 5/16 or 3/8 bolt is 15 to 25 foot-pounds.

Basically one hand on a typical 3/8 drive ratchet without hurting your hand.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.
