Uwharrie National Forest, Troy, NC - Sept 21-23

2nd Annual NC Regional Field Excercise
    Uhwarrie National Forest
    Sept 21-23

Come out for some camping and trail riding.
We had a good turnout last year... IIRC: 3 or 4 M715's, an Cummins-powered M37, a bobbed 4x4 duece, and various other CJ's, FSJ's, etc.

I have Site B at Badin Lake Group Camp reserved for our use. All I ask is that you RSVP so that we don't grossly exceed the 10 vehicle limit. Others will be staying at the Badin Lake Camp around the corner. Reservations can be made at ReserveUSA.com.

I strongly encourage anyone that wants to come out to do so, whether you bring a Samurai, a stock or built FSJ, a 5-ton cargo truck, or just bum a ride with someone else. I assure you... you won't be disappointed.

So far, there's about 5 -6 vehicles at the camp.
Room for more! Haven't heard from any of the "regulars" yet. Where ye be?
              Come on, folks. Step up.

Sounds like a few drop-ins, too. Bring 'em on. Maybe we'll finally get to meet Sam in person!!! We'll be on the trails by 10AM every day so get there early.

The only restriction on the number of vehicles is imposed by the group camp rules. There's always plenty of parking. It really won't be a problem, especially during the day. I'd just like to get an idea whether we'll have 10 or 20 or 30 so we can set up efficiently. Also, there may be a hog smokin' of some sort brewing for Sat night so an approx head count would be nice.

                              Tony,

Me, Stump & Papa George will be there Friday afternoon, but we will be staying at Arrowhead CG on sites 35 & 37. Stumps bringing his pop-up and I'm bringing my 5th wheel to stay in. Mike Foster said he will probably come if its not to hot. I told him its a good time to bring out his CUCV. To bad his Big Block Hummer is not ready yet!!

We might have 2 or 3 more jeeps show up during the weekend. Donnie is supposed to be there Sat. am, Bill from Fay said he might show up in his white Rubicon & Jonathan may be there in his CJ7.
