When I am going slow and make sharp turns, like in a parking garage or a slow u-turn, I hear a thump coming from the front...
I rebuilt the transmission and took the transfer case apart and inspected everything, it all looked good, differential was within spec, no wear on it really at all. I put a brand new america Morse chain on it, and filled with proper fluid from BJ's.
I have had similar feeling in my newer 2001 Cherokee when it's in 4WD, but wanted to see if this is normal.
Could it be bearings in the front or something else?
