Mid-Atlantic Paint shops

I'm looking to do a color swap on my 1990 GW to Spinnaker blue. Any good GW shops in the Maryland/PA/Cirginia area? I know of a few in Texas, but shipping is too much...

Talk to your local car clubs. They'll know.

Yep - Car clubs. Check your local Jeep/4x4 forum too. You could post on the autobody101.com paint forum, and ask if there is anyone local that does resprays on the side. Check Craig's List too. The established body shops typically specialize in collision work, and will often quote an outrageous price to send you away without refusing your business.

Honestly, knowing SJs is not as important as simply being good. How good they have to be will depend on your expectations. Skill in both prep and applying the paint is huge if your looking for a super smooth (no orange peel) and durable paint job. But I've seen people tickled pink with a basic repaint.
Local car shows and hangouts will give you a chance to see as well as hear what people say.

Price is going to depend on how much they have to do.
Are they pulling all the trim? How about the engine?
Will there be dents and dings to smooth out? (of course there will!)
How far down do you want the existing paint taken?
Will there be rust to be cut and patched? (or is gorilla hair good enough for your puposes?)

This is a little outside your geographic area, and I kept the same color, but gives you an idea of some of the work even on a fairly clean an straight car.
