    bbd Carb solenoid

I'm trying to reconnect my solenoid. The male portion has two wires. One has an o connector that seems to be for power but I can remember where to hook it up. Help!

    Year? Model? Equipment?

The TSM would likely help you.

It hooks to the other connector that has a slightly bigger O.

It hooks to the same harness that the electric choke pull off and anti dieseling solenoid hooks to. Assuming its a later model FSJ...

The '82 TSM is online here http://oljeep.com/edge_parts_man.html as well as the wiring diagrams http://oljeep.com/gw/elec/GW_wiring.html

There is only a diagram for an '81 and an '83 on that site, but they should both be close, and be enough to figure out where the wires connect. At worst, you will need to trace each wire back to the bulkhead fitting, where it can be identified by its location in the fitting.

If you need the actual 1982 diagram, BJs has the manual for sale on their site, and it can also be purchased as a CD-ROM from RockAuto (Bishko).
