    FSJ Frame Repair Panel

I have ability to make repair patch panels for the frames of Wagoneer/Cherokee and J series trucks. This panel replaces the inboard box section from the rearmost end to about three inches forward of the spring mounting bracket. This area is where the transmission crossmember attaches.

Inside this boxed section is usually loaded with dirt and other foreign material and is difficult to clean. This is why this area is notorious for rusting through. Check yours with a pick hammer, especially near the bottom.

Removing this section of the frame will allow access for a thorough cleaning and application of rust inhibitor before the new panel is installed.

The panel Is 28” long and can be provided with or without holes or crush sleeves. This replacement may possibly be done with the body attached but this would have to be investigated. The crossmember will need to be removed. The panels are easy to locate, no measuring is required. A cut-off grinding disk, welding and basic hand tools are all that is required. They are made to order and will take several days to weeks for delivery. Right and left sides are available. Price range is $70-$95 each depending on condition.

Pictures are available if you give your email address.
