Just thought I'd ask. I believe they were made between 1940-1963. I always thought they looked pretty cool. And unique.
Would any1 know the prod.dates of the Willy's P/U's

1947-1965 for the 4x4 models (yes, they overlapped the Gladiators for a couple years), but only 1947-1951 for the 2wd versions.
In the USA at least. They were revised and produced much later in Brazil.1987 J-20

Do you have a specific PU in mind? If you have the VIN I'll check the build date for you.

You go 64Trvlr...what's up buddy? Long time no here. Bear has been really quiet also. Have you heard from him lately? I stopped at his check point many times but he was always out chaseing after some inocent illegals. Anything painted desert sand yet?Bob

Bob Barry: thanks for clearing this.
No 64Trvlr: I don't have one in mind. Thanks for the offer though. I am curious as to why some pickup's have the flat grille and some have the pointed grille. I have been looking at different models here on the web and can't figure it out. I was thinking the older ones had the pointed grille and then I saw a newer one with one also.J-trucks with Brows RULE!!!

My Traveler has a pointed grille and so does the 60 wag I've got. I see if I can find anything out about the grilles for you.

Hey appreciate it '64Trvlr.
It's really no big deal, just curious. The grille that you have seems to be the most popular. I also believe its the best looking.
I was thinking that maybe the flat grille design was for foreign markets are something...dunno.
Anyway, just curious.J-trucks with Brows RULE!!!
