surprise in the mail from five16

i woke up this morning...decided to go thru mail while my coffee was perkin....bill, bill, junk mail, bill, hmmm whats this- open it up..inside is hand written letter from FIVE16..couple weeks ago he had posted bout a bad door latch he had on his truck. everytime he hit a bump the door would fly open...so i sent him an old latch i had out in the barn.
You know, I am not typically a person who desires attention. But I do like the looks my J-Truck gets. I do not like the fact that everytime I go over the railroad tracks in town or hit a bump/pot hole, the driver door swinging open and draws attention and stares from nervous drivers. (Like I would ever bail out of my truck)

i had told him i'd send it to him for free...i was gonna "charge it to the game" so to speak..and i need some good karma ...anyways...tucked behind the the letter from Mr. Boggs was a personal money order .

    how cool is that!
i appreciate it bro it made my mornin- big mike

Cool. Free is always nice, but if you leave me a return address, you are going to get your shipping cost back from me.
If you feel like you need to send any other parts out, my address is...

Welp, just saw this thread. Better late than never.

It wasn't a "sweepstakes" check but it was the least I could do for someone who helped me out.

BTW, the latch worked out very nice. Thanks again Big Mike!!
You can teach what you know but you can only reproduce what you are.

It makes sense if you don't think about it.
