    I want 5" lift...how to do it???

Ok. So I got my 36" Iroks mounted up and I have decided I don't want more than 5" of lift. I know there are several ways to accomplish this, but I am not sure which route I want to go. I use it on the rocks and some street driving but that's about it. I don't want to do a spring over with stock springs for 2 reasons. My springs are sagging to the driver side and the main leafs on the front springs are bent a little. here are my options I see...

    1. I could do a springover with chevy springs in the front, which would move the axle forward an inch and give me 3-4" of lift(from what I understand) and do a small body lift w/ a custom shackle flip in the rear to level it out.

    2. I could do a springover using chevy 2" lift springs which move the axle forward and, may give me anywhere from 4-6" of lift, but I am not sure. A shackle flip in rear to level it out. Then I could omit the body lift.

    3. 4" BJ's lift w/shackle lift and shackle flip rear.

    4. skyjacker 4" lift front(I hear it lifts it like 5") and shackle flip rear to level it out.

I want good flex, but I for sure want no more than 5" of lift. 4-5" would be ideal. Any other ideas???

What do you think??? Anyone have any measurements of actual wheel travel with the setup of your choice?

Why don't you just go with a 4" all spring lift from BJ's or SkyJacker instead of shackle flips and spring overs and stuff that's more complicated?

well...I want a minimum of 36" of travel out of the setup. Anything less and it would be a waste of money to me. Do the full spring kits accomplish that?
