j10 max tire size

Ok, I was wondering what the largest tire is that you can fit on a stock j10 and the biggest tire you can put on a j10 with a 2 inch lift. I saw 35's on a stock j10 in another thread but I think they would rub I need the biggest tire without rubbing. Can I put 33's on with a 2 inch lift? By the way the 2 inch question is because I'm looking at a j10 with a 2 inch lift.

I fit 33's on my j20 with stock springs. It didn't flex very much, but it didn't rub. I think you'd be fine with 33's and a 2" lift.

Both my J-4600 and J-4500 (pretty much long wheelbase J-10's) with 'good' condition stock suspension ran 33x9.5's and never had a rub issue. I don't rock crawl but in the woods with associated bumps like water bars even with 3/4 cord of dry firewood loads never had a rub issue. With 12 wides I've heard you may have an issue rubbing on the springs at full lock but I dunno cause I don't do wide tires.

33's will fit fine with a 2" lift. I wouldn't try any extreme flexing but overall you'll be fine. As Joe mentioned, if you run wider tires you'll need to adjust the steering stops a bit to prevent rubbing. Otherwise all is good.

Coulda been me. It didn't rub, I could turn lock to lock, Didn't rub at max flex (granted, max flex isnt much on a stock truck)
