Where to look at for J20 rust problems?

Looking at buying a 1980 J20, what areas are prone to rust, more concerned about frame areas or areas that are not easily seen.

    Thank you.

On Jeeps, rust is most likely to show up anywhere there's steel.

OK, I'm done being a tool.

Check the frame around the spring hangars for the rear springs. Check the seams in the sides of the bed, and the fender flares. On the cab, check the floors, rockers and cab corners. Pop the hood and look at the inner fenders.
These are some of the places that rust tends to start first.

My rear, rear spring hanger let go on the driver's side. When I went to fix it I saw my front hanger and the rear spring was about ready to go as well.

Also, check the frame around the gas tank.

Cab corners, rocker panels, and the floor boards in the seam where the flat floor starts to rise near the firewall.
