    It's been one year...

It's been one year since the jeep took a dump on me and blew up some kind of seals with the t-case. I haven't touched it since, just becuase I'm 7 hrs away from the thing at school. My question is...I know its leaking from the t-case, it is msot probable that its one of the seals for the driveshafts?

Also, since it's been a year, are there any special things I should do to it so its made to drive a long distance? I mean, any special things from driving on the shore to driving in the mountains.

Oh, any new ways to get better MPG?

Assuming it has the stock 229, just start your trip with a few qts of Dex3 ATF and a means of filling the TC. you will need a large adjustable or, IIRC, 1 1/4, wrench. Unless its leaving a visable trail, checking it when you fill up should be fine.
