    Guess It's Gone.

Well, I pulled the waggy off the market since there has been a twist in our custody issue and there is no way to afford it now, nor be able to miss much work under the new ownership. So a fellow at work had to now take a paycut and had his hours cut. He also has a wife with disabilities and several kids living at home. And worse, the engine in his car just seized up. No matter how bad things seem for me, he has it worse. He can't get a loan and asked if I could help. I've known him to be a hard working, honest and religious man. I can't turn my back on others worse off than me. You know where this is going. It just felt like the right thing to do. Just like my late mother in laws car. I'm going to check it all out and it is going to be donated to a needy single mom from church. My wife felt it was the right thing to do. I'll still be around to learn from all of you and maybe be able to offer some advice. You're a great bunch of people. And God willing, we will have another FSJ again some day. Happy trails!

I salute you sir & Have been there. Both sides.

If it's meant to be it will be. If we can't help people what is there in life worth having. I believe it's safe to say that everyone on this forum has that atttude or at least a majority of them do. You'll get it back in spades either now or later. I know you are thankful for what you have or you wouldn't realize the value of helping someone less fortunant than you.
You Tha Man. In my book when you get ready to do it again & need parts If I got it & don't need it look me up I'll be glad to donate. I don't have a lot but I do have a lot of parts.

If you can't make it better why waste your time. No use repeating the orignal mistakes. I'm to old to push it that's why.

Ive been in the same boat as you. My girlfriends parents unfortunately have no jobs in this bad economy. I gave them a good running Jeep xj that I picked up to tear the lift and aftermarket flares off of for our '89 so they could get around since they had no good vehicles and it was still in good running shape when i put stock suspension under it. It has a remanufactured 4.0 in it with low mileage. Our 89 xj blew its 4.0 so its in need of an engine. I found another good running xj in better condition than the other one i gave them, bought it and gave it to them so i could take the other one back and yank the motor out of for us. They have given me the best thing that has ever happened to me which is my girlfriend, so im trying to do as much as i can to return the favor.

That has to be one of the most moving things I have ever read. You did what you were "called" to do. That voice that said it was the right thing was right. You are to be commended. Thank you for helping a fellow person. Beale.
