Well, christmas was good this year! I have either received or ordered all the parts to get the axles swapped under the rig. Going with a shackle reversal in the front, but using these slider boxes instead. http://www.liquidironindustries.com/...1&cat=0&page=1

Pretty neat idea and makes shackle reversal a breeze. In the back ill be fabbing my own orbit eye rear hanger of sorts. Taking the orbit eye principle from alcan springs and applying it to the rear spring hanger using ballistic fab shankless rod end and what essentially amounts to a smaller diameter spring perch. Anyways, more pics in the coming months. Still building a house and have plenty of things to get done on it first.

Geez, its been awhile. The jeep has changed a bit since the beginning of the year. Not quite done with the transformation just yet, but should have it finished up this spring. Built a house and work has been stupid busy as of late. Got a few more honey-dos to take care of them back to the wrenching!! I need to wheeeeel..

Havent had a chance to test it yet. I have to do some more clearancing on it to make it work. Right now the springs are hitting it where the boxed the front. From what ive read they should work well. Now to figure out a way to lower the back end some. May end up doing zero rates in the front to pick it up some.

Great build, love the stance on 42's.

I may have missed it in the thread, but what driveshaft are you running up front? Are you SOA on stock springs?

                      Thanks

I havent gotten new driveshafts yet, but will be running 1350 cvs on both ends of the tcase and 1350 joints at the axles. Tatton driveline in utah is where i will be getting them from.

If they can build me one for as cheap as these guys do, then i will definitely use them. Hard to beat $350/ea for 1350 cv shaft.

Driveshaftsuperstore.com has 1350 cv shafts listed at $395 for long travel and $350 for standard travel...and they have a higher operation angle than unmodified 1350 cvs while still being sealed. Think thats who ill go with.
