We have the camper de-winterized, the Jeep is operational, but the calendar is fouling me up. I thought we were going to be just ducky, but we have Cub Scout Twilight Camp, a HotWheels show, and two farmers' markets hogging the weekend. I would say that at least Aaron would be there, but he's in charge of the racing at HotWheels so I don't know. *sigh*
It's going to eat at me if I have to miss two years in a row. Mama needs to get on the trails now that the baby is old enough.
riding shotgun with ajshen.
raising our boys to Tread Lightly.
Going to try to make it this time around. Hopefully the Jeep will be good and ready by that point. Going to try to convince my girlfriend and some friends to tag along.
If it works and I go, you and I could convoy up. I'm going to try. Haven't been in years.
You can just do like we will do and wait until the week of the event and start working on it
Or on the trailer AT the event..........

Working on getting everything together! ECI is getting too close too fast!
14 days and my heads are at a machine shop, my CB still isn't hooked up, my fire extinguisher isn't installed, push bar still needs to be sanded (and painted/mounted), still need front tow points.
GAH! I'm going to have to crack down after I get off work Saturday (getting heads back Friday) and after church Sunday. I want to get it back on the road by Sunday night. Hopefully CB will be installed tomorrow (radio is in, just need to decide on an antenna location and run the wire). I should be able to get the push bar cleaned up the rest of the way tomorrow and put the bed coating on it. Let it dry overnight.
I also need to get my shorties milled/surfaced (they are slightly warped which doesn't help my exhaust leak issue).

Were leaving on the 8th and my tranny is waiting on parts
It's great to see this thing still going on. I remember when 2nd Day (where ever he is?) and I and a few others started putting together the first ECI way back in 2003 I think it was... I was never able to get my 82 cherokee there for any of it but the first pre-run due to tranny issues.
Maybe this coming year in my "new" '91...
Seems like forever ago doesnt it. I still remember the first one in 2003 at Telico. That was a good test run for all of us. Uwharrie has definetley been where it needed to be and I am so proud to be able to say I was a part of it. Still got my pictures from the Uwharrie runs up right on top of my computer.
Miss those days lke crazy. Thanks to all for keeping the dream alive. Next year for sure.
