82 Steering wheel on 88 Steering column?

Will a 82 Steering wheel fit on 88 Steering column without any mods?

I don't see where there would be a problem. The column is basicly the same other than the ignition switch and lack of dimmer switch on the lower side.

horn setups are different I think. But doable just swap everything for the horn. Youll need to remove the lock plate (PITA) and retrieve the disk and trnasplant it into the '88s column. I think the later Wags wheels are UGLY, youll like the older wheel a lot better, nice choice
