Odyssey Battery Warranty Problems

I have tried for over two months to get the folks at West Coast Batteries Inc. to warranty two bad Odyssey batteries. I've talked to them twice on the phone, emailed them (three times) all of the documentation (invoices when purchased, pictures of the bar code, volt readings, etc.) and so far they have not returned my emails or phone calls.

Has anyone else had problems with Odyssey warranty issues?

Good news,
The folks @ West Coast Batteries came through. Two new batteries showed up here today. I'm happy. The power of the WWW !

Good to hear.

Couple of questions: What was the application, DD, sit a long time, float charger? What was the failure? How old were they? Any mods to the charge system to better suit AGM's?

I was thinking of using them when the time comes.

Just FYI, Sears diehard platinum batteries are Odyssey batteries at a cheaper price and they are easier to deal with if any warranty issues arise.

Note: platinum series only

I have had 7 of them over the last five years (in 6 different vehicles -- one with dual batteries) and I have never had any go out. One in a daily driver, two in a weekly driver (dual batts) and the rest are in rigs that are either in progress or restored rigs that don't get out much at all.

I only put a trickle charger on one of the project rigs.
