On behalf of my wife, thank you for being so far from us. These would cause issues in my marriage if you were closer becuase I would just buy them.

I wish I had seen this before I sent mine off to be worked on. All I really need is a decent bed and the repairs to mine are going to cost twice what you are asking for the whole thing.

You might be better off just yet. The white bed is pretty much rust free on the seams and rest of it. But it has some pretty significant dents on the back from someone pushing it on the body metal with something. I even purchased a couple special reach body tools to knock the dents out.

Plus it looks like I might be keeping these. 70% of me wants to. I am not getting much if any inquiries. So I still would like to make one good truck out of them. I just have a lot sitting around here. And everything needs work.

It's a good thing those aren't on this side. I'd probably be buying.

I know what you mean.

I took the ad down today. I really do want to build the black one up. Besides craigslist is no fun anymore. People are just strange.

I have the same feeling everytime I think of selling one of mine. But thanks for the ad I've decided to run those wheels on my black 79. I have to get the lift, winch bumper, and rhino grill in it too.

And stupid.

I always have the following in my ads: Calls only, leave message. I will call back. If you see this ad it's still available.

I invariably get texts, often this: "Do u still have it?"

Those turbines are super cool I think. But watch the back spacing as they rub the front springs on a sharp turn. I was going to put 1 inch wheel spacers on. After a lot of reading it does not seem to be a safety risk or anything. I bought another set with less fins and better back spacing. I need to paint and clear coat them and they will go on the cJ-5.

I don't know how to do dual replies. ...

Yes on my 53 willys I kept getting calls from a guy that wanted parts. I kept telling him it was totally complete, original and it was not getting parted out. He kept calling. Jeez.. I don't want to be rude, but some people don't listen.

A kid called yesterday noticing I took the ad down. He was a junior in high school and wanted his dad to look with him. He said he did not have much money and I explained in detail what they needed. Translation.... money.
I suspect the truck or trucks would have gotten neglected and never finished. I know it is important to not care what happens when they leave, but it is hard to not care. I told him I would probably keep them. And I want to.
